In just over six months, Bahamas National Trust Executive Director Eric Carey will step down from the post he has held for nearly two decades.
THE Bahamas National Trust announced yesterday that Eric Carey will step down as executive director on December 31. Eric has overseen dynamic organisational growth, taking BNT from a small non-profit to an environmental powerhouse of thousands of dedicated members, staff, park wardens, and both a Bahamian and international community of donors.
Mr. Carey currently serves as Executive Director of the Bahamas National Trust. He was formerly BNT’s Director of Parks and Science. Prior to BNT he served as the Wildlife Conservation Officer with The Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture.
